The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns the death of 16-year-old Mohammed Ali, who was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces while protesting the Israeli demolition of the home of Palestinian martyr Oday al-Tamimi in Shufat camp in occupied Jerusalem. 

We hail the Palestinian residents of Shufat camp and occupied Jerusalem who have made great sacrifices in the Palestinian national struggle for freedom and independence.  

The unabated Israeli aggression in Jerusalem and across historic Palestine, including our Muslim and Christian holy sites, will not go unpunished. The Palestinian people will continue to resist the Israeli occupation and fend off its aggression.
