The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has warned against attempts by the US administration to undermine Palestinian resistance to the occupation in the occupied West Bank. 

Speaking at a sit-in held in Gaza City in solidarity with the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem saluted the Palestinian people everywhere for defending their rights and homeland.  

Qasem called on the Palestinian citizens of the occupied West Bank to continue resisting the occupation with all means possible – a legitimate right guaranteed by international law for all peoples under occupation.  

The Hamas spokesperson reiterated that the Palestinian resistance, including Hamas' Al-Qassam Brigades, will continue to endorse the just cause of Palestinian detainees and defend the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank.
