A high-profile delegation from Hamas, headed by its chief Ismail Haniyeh, has arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
The Hamas delegation will hold discussions with senior Egyptian officials on several topics, including the latest developments concerning the Palestinian cause.
The delegation also includes Hamas deputy chief, Saleh al-Arouri, Hamas chief abroad Khalid Meshal, head of Hamas Arab and Islamic Relations Office Khalil al-Hayya, and Hamas politburo member Rawhi Mushtaha.
The talks with the Egyptian leadership will include the dangerous measures taken by the Israeli occupation in occupied Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the growing terrorism against the Palestinian people, in addition to the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip.
