The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas welcomes the announcement made by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) fixing the time limits for the presentation of written statements and comments on the request for an advisory opinion on the illegality of the Israeli occupation.

Hamas deems this order a step towards supporting the just Palestinian cause and criminalising the fascist Israeli occupation that constantly commits crimes and violations against the Palestinian people, lands, and holy places.

We call on all states and United Nations concerned Agencies and relevant international organisations to file their pleadings and present reports on the illegality of the Israeli occupation and its crimes to the ICJ, thus defending the Palestinian people’s right to freedom.
