The Palestinian people and the Arab and Muslim world celebrate the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's Isra and Mi'raj night journey as a symbol of Muslims' strong connection to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam's first Qibla and third holiest site.
First: The Al-Aqsa Mosque is an exclusive Muslim endowment site. The Israeli occupation will never have any legitimacy or sovereignty over any part of it according to all divine laws, UN conventions, and international resolutions.
Second: This anniversary serves as a reminder to the Muslim world that it has a historical responsibility to defend Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque at the political, diplomatic, media, and humanitarian levels, and to protect them against Israeli aggression until liberating them.
Third: We call on the Arab and Muslim leaders, government, peoples, and organisations to urgently act in support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian citizens of occupied Jerusalem.
