The Hamas Information Office has issued a report documenting Israeli and Palestinian Authority violations against Palestinians during August 2016.

According to the report, the Israeli occupation forces "IOF" had killed 5 Palestinians in the West Bank last month, while over the same period it had arrested 419 Palestinians, including 38 minors, 20 freed ex-prisoners, and 9 women, and knocked down 53 houses and as well as 18 agricultural and industrial facilities.

In addition, Israeli Occupation Authorities had in August approved the construction of 6818 housing units in illegal settlements erected on occupied Palestinian lands in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

The report further documented 102 cases of arbitrary arrests by the PA security forces targeting Hamas and pro-resistance activists, including 69 Hamas affiliates.

PA apparatuses had also summoned 80 Palestinians for interrogation over political activities, while it extended the detention of 13 others.
