The Israeli occupation has approved plans to build three thousand settlement units and intends to approve another four thousand. These settlement plans are part of the open-ended Israeli war against the Palestinian people; they also constitute a flagrant violation of international law and emphasize the Palestinian Authority’s decision to withdraw a draft resolution at the United Nations Security Council against illegal Israeli settlement activity is a wrong move.

The Israeli occupation’s colonial expansion and continued crimes reflect the Israeli occupation's brutality and fascism. The occupation also bears full responsibility for the repercussions of such crimes.

Hamas also salutes the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and calls on the international community to fulfil their responsibility towards terrorist policies adopted by the Israeli occupation, which threaten stability and security in the region.
