Member of Hamas political bureau Khalil al-Hayya has called on the Palestinian and Muslim peoples of the world to unite against their common Zionist enemy.
In his Eid sermon in Gaza city today, al-Hayya urged the Arab and Muslim states to sever political ties with the Israeli occupation and end all forms of normalization with the enemy.
“It is time to stand together behind the resistance and kick out the occupation that defiles the holy Aqsa Mosque and cleanses Jerusalem of its Arab citizens,” he said, underlining ceaseless Israeli attempts to steal more lands and expand over Arab territories.
He hailed the strength and resolve of Palestinian prisoners on hunger strike in Israeli prisons.
“Your cause will not be forsaken by the resistance which works day and night for your liberation” He underscored.
He said that the municipal elections planned in the Gaza Strip and West Bank were sabotaged by foreign intervention and the political agenda of some factions, opining that a window was still open to hold the elections in time.
