The so-called Israeli knesset's approval in a preliminary reading of a draft bill authorising the execution of Palestinian detainees is an apparent attempt to legalise the systematic killings practised by the Israeli occupation army against our Palestinian people.
Such racist and criminal move reflects the Israeli occupation government's fascist tendencies; it represents an extension to the summary executions carried out by the Israeli occupation army in cold blood under the nose of the whole world in complete disregard for the international community and international laws and conventions that criminalises killing on a discriminatory and racist basis.
As we emphasise that such policies and laws will not deter our Palestinian people from continuing their legitimate resistance against the Israeli occupation and colonial settlers, we warn the international community and all relevant institutions about the dangers of such Israeli escalation.
We call for effective global action to punish the Israeli occupation government, which had not ceased to kill and incite to the murder of Palestinians – the latest instance of which took place when it allowed Israeli colonial settlers to violently rampage through Huwara in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
We warn against shielding Israeli leaders from punishment – a move that would greenlight further terrorism and aggression against our Palestinain people.
