Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh has congratulated the new Qatar’s prime minister on appointment.

In the letter sent to the new PM, Haniyeh offered the movement’s congratulations to Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulraham Al Thani after being assigned as the PM of the country.

“It is our pleasure, in the leadership of the Hamas movement, to offer our congratulations to your highness on appointment as the Qatar’s PM and the minister of foreign affairs,” Haniyeh wrote in the letter.

Hamas chief also thanked Qatar for its positions in support of the Palestinian people.
