The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has saluted the steadfastness of the Palestinian women in the face of the Israeli occupation’s violations.
In a press statement on the International Women’s Day, Hamas emphasised that this occasion reminds the world of the suffering sustained by Palestinian women due to the continued Israeli crimes and violations, calling for criminalising the Israeli occupation’s attacks against Palestinian women detainees held in Israeli jails.
Hamas hailed the role of the Palestinian women in the freedom struggle against the Israeli occupation in all fields.
“This occasion reminds every one of the Palestinian women refugees who are denied of their basic rights,” the movement said.
The world should bear the humanitarian and ethical responsibility towards the Palestinian women by pressing the Israeli occupation into stopping its crimes and violations against Palestinians.
