Hamas leader Fathi Hammad has downplayed the significance of his listing by the U.S. State Department as a “global terrorist”, slamming the decision as a proof of the flagrant US bias towards Israel.
“This decision comes after the U.S. had announced the biggest military aid package to the Israeli occupation,” Hammad said in a press statement on Saturday.
Hammad asserted that the listing of Hamas leaders as terrorists will not deter their efforts to defend and serve their people, regardless the price that may have to be paid.
“Our belief dictates that nothing can happen without Allah’s permission.” He said.
