Hamas has mourned the death of the Malaysian figure and spiritual leader of Malaysia’s Islamic Party Sheikh Haron Din, who passed away on Friday at the age of 76.
“Our sincere condolences go to the leadership and members of the Malaysian Islamic Party and the Malaysian and Muslim peoples,” Hamas said in a statement on Saturday.
“May Allah accept the good deeds of Sheikh Haron and give strength and patience to the brothers in the Malaysian Islamic Party,” the statement added.
