Hamas spokesperson Abdul Latif al-Qanoua has reiterated that the Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails plan to launch an open-ended hunger strike during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan against the Israeli occupation’s strict measures imposed on them.

Al-Qanou reaffirmed the Palestinian people’s preparedness to support Palestinian detainees in their quest for dignity and freedom at any cost.

The settler-colonial occupation’s repressive and arbitrary measures against Palestinian detainees languishing in Israeli jails would not break their will, he concluded.
