Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has saluted the Algerian President and people and the Algerian Movement of Society for Peace "MSP" for their unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.

The Hamas chairman emphasised that Algeria stood firm in the face of normalising ties with the Israeli occupation state and granting it an observer status at the African Union (AU).

Haniyeh has also hailed Algerian President Abdulmajeed Tabboune for his country's efforts in sponsoring Palestinian reconciliation talks, reaffirming his movement's commitment to executing it.
