The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemns in the strongest possible terms the attack by Israeli colonial settlers on the Church of Gethsemane in occupied Jerusalem and destroying its contents.

Hamas holds the Israeli occupation and its fascist government responsible for the Israeli settler militias’ crimes and reiterates that such repeated and organised attacks on Muslim and Christian holy sites are botched attempts to Judaise occupied Jerusalem.

We renew our call for the international community and all concerned organisations to take practical actions to put an end to and criminlise such escalating racist attacks.
