The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns the martyrdom of Palestinian engineer Ali Al-Aswad who was assassinated in the Syrian capital of Damascus in an attack that bore the hallmarks of the Israeli occupation.

Hamas extends its sincere condolences to the martyr’s family and loved ones and reiterates that the Israeli occupation’s crimes will not dissuade the Palestinian people from exercising their legitimate right to resistance under international law.
