On the racist statements made by Israeli occupation’s Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich, Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh stated the following:

The racist statements made by Israeli occupation’s Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich and the use of a map portraying Jordan as part of the Israeli occupation during a talk in Paris reflect the colonial mentality of the Israeli occupation. Such remarks indicate that both Palestine and Jordan face the same Israeli threat. Therefore, Palestine should organise a strategic dialogue with Jordan to fight the serious Israeli occupation’s colonial plans.
