We condemn the despicable attacks against Palestinian worshippers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli occupation forces who attempted to expel them from the Qibli mosque late Saturday night. 

Such aggression provokes the feelings of Muslims and constitutes a flagrant violation of the sanctity of holy sites and the freedom of worship, guaranteed by all international laws and conventions. 

We call on the Palestinian citizens of Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 to defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the face of the schemes orchestrated by the Israeli occupation and extremist Israeli colonial settler groups seeking to conduct ritual animal slaughter at the Muslims' first Qibla in the coming days.
