On this day, the Palestinian people remember the heinous massacre perpetrated by Zionist gangs against the Palestinian residents of the Deir Yassin village in 1948. The Zionist gangs killed 360 Palestinians including women and children and destroyed the village and displaced its residents by force back then.

This massacre continues to bear witness to the brutality of the Zionist occupation’s state, which was established on the ruins of Palestinian homes after committing crimes and violations against Palestinians and displacing the indigenous peoples by force.

We confirm that the Israeli brutality will not grant the occupation any legitimacy or hegemony over the occupied Palestinian territories, at the heart of which are Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa mosque.

The sad anniversary of this bloody massacre comes again while the Israeli occupation continues its crimes and violations against the Palestinian people, land, and holy places and amid the silence of the international community that has failed to put an end to the Israeli occupations’ s violations of international law and conventions.

The international community and human rights organizations should work towards holding Israeli leaders accountable for crimes against Palestinians. Moreover, the occupation state must be isolated and criminalized for its repeated violations and the Palestinian people should be empowered to enjoy their rights to freedom and self-determination.

The Deir Yassin massacre and other Israeli atrocities will not dissuade Palestinians from continuing their freedom struggle against the occupation. The steadfastness of Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza, and at the Al-Aqsa mosque will persist until independence, liberation, and return.
