Member of Hamas Political Bureau Hisham Qassim has said that muting call to prayers at al-Aqsa Mosque on the grounds of Israeli colonial settlers' celebrations at the al-Buraq Wall Plaza was part of the age-long religious war against Islamic sanctities and Islam's First Qibla in particular.

After ripping out the Bab Al-Rahma prayer hall's electrical wiring for the second consecutive time and preventing its guards from approaching it, the occupation forces facilitated Israeli colonial settlers' incursion into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Qassim added.

The Hamas official called for condemning the Israeli occupation forces' aggression that aims at "altering occupied Jerusalem and its Al-Aqsa Mosque's character".
