The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourns Palestinian citizen Ahmed Taha, 39, who was summarily executed by the Israeli occupation forces north of the occupied West Bank city of Salfit.

Hamas extends its sincere condolences to the martyr's family and loved ones and reaffirms its commitment to the option of resistance until the Israeli occupation ends and the Palestinian people regain their rights.

Our people will not stand idly by and let the Israeli occupation forces and colonial settlers desecrate the Palestinian holy places.

We call on the Palestinian people to march to the Al-Aqsa Mosque to defend the sacred site and foil the Israeli occupation authorities and terrorist settlers' malicious schemes.
