The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has condemned the Israeli occupation government's decision to legalise 70 new illegal settlements and outposts in the occupied West Bank as a "continuation of the unabated settler-colonial aggression against our occupied Palestinian territories."
Member of Hamas Political Bureau Abroad, Ali Baraka, said that such a move contravenes all regional and international resolutions and calls demanding an end to the illegal Israeli settlement activities.
In a press statement Saturday, Baraka called on the Palestinian people to unify their efforts to confront Israeli colonial settlers and the Israeli occupation army and protect their homeland and holy sites.
