Hamas movement has confirmed that the Israeli occupation’s crimes against journalists will not change the truth about its terrorism, nor will it push journalists to stop media coverage of Israeli violations.
In a press release issued on World Press Freedom Day, the movement explained that the Israeli occupation’s violations against Palestinian journalists amount to a war on the freedom of expression and are serious violations against international law and conventions.
“This war unveils the Israeli occupation’s fear of reporting the truth and news about its escalating crimes against Palestinians, their land, and holy places.”
Hamas explained the Israeli occupation’s attempts to target and silence Palestinian journalists, noting that such crimes will fail to block the Palestinian narrative about the situation in Palestine.
The movement hailed all Palestinian journalists and media workers on World Press Freedom Day who continue to promote the Palestinian narrative and report the Israeli occupation’s violations to the world.
