The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has welcomed the UN Secretary-General António Guterres' call for a "transparent investigation" into the death of Palestinian detainee Khader Adnan in an Israeli occupation prison after 87 days of hunger strike.
Hamas spokesperson Jehad Taha reiterated the necessity to conduct a transparent UN probe into Adana's death and hold all complicit Israeli occupation leaders accountable.
Hamas rejects any investigation conducted by the fascist Israeli occupation government, Taha explained in a press statement.
Taha called on the UN to place pressure on the Israeli occupation to end its policies targeting the Palestinian detainees in Israeli occupation jails.
