Media advisor of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh, Taher al-Nunu, stated the following: 

Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has received phone calls from Egyptian, Qatari, and United Nations officials, during which he discussed the Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip. 

Haniyeh held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the consequences of its aggression. 

The Hamas chief reaffirmed the necessity of maintaining unity among all Palestinian resistance factions, stressing that the movement is always prepared to act should the Israeli occupation expand the aggression.
