Head of Hamas’s Arab and Islamic Affairs Dr Khalil Al-Hayya has sent a letter to the Arab ministers of foreign affairs to brief them on the consequences of the latest Israeli aggression against Palestine.
Al-Hayya explained that the Israeli occupation killed 13 Palestinians on May 9th in pre-dawn airstrikes on residential buildings, noting that most of the victims were women and children.
“This crime has brought the number of Palestinians victims killed in Israeli attacks since the start of 2022 to 134,” Al-Hayaa added.
The senior Hamas official explained that the Israeli occupation does not respect ceasefire agreements reached through mediators.
Al-Hayya called on the Arab countries to bear the responsibility towards the Palestinian people and work towards holding the Israeli occupation accountable for its crimes and violations against the Palestinian people.
“We are looking forward to your contribution to achieving peace and stability in the region and to your endeavours to end the last occupation in the world,” Al-Hayya concluded.
