Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has received a phone call from Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-abdollahian, during which the latter conveyed President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi's solidarity with the Palestinian people and resistance.

For his part, the Hamas chief thanked the senior Iranian official for the call, commending the Islamic Republic's unswerving support for the Palestinian people.

Haniyeh held the Israeli occupation accountable for the consequences of the assassination of Palestinian leaders and civilians.
