The Israeli occupation "Knesset's" approval of a bill that would ban the public display of the Palestinian flag and impose penalties on that is a further continuation of the religious war waged by the fascist Israeli occupation government against the Palestinian people.

Approving such a draft bill in a preliminary reading would give the Israeli occupation forces the green light to further violate the Palestinian people's rights.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas vehemently condemns such a bill and reiterates that it will not terrorise our Palestinian people or discourage them from waving the Palestinian flag, which is a symbol of our identity, unity, and struggle.

Hamas calls on the international community, United Nations, and all concerned organisations to condemn the Israeli occupation government's policies and crimes, which violate the most basic human rights standards. Hamas also calls on them to support the Palestinian people in their quest for liberation and independence.
