The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemns the Israeli war minister’s decision to reoccupy the so-called ‘Homesh settlement’ in the West Bank that was dismantled in 2005. 

As the Israeli war minister has signed a bill that permits Israeli settlers to reconstruct colonial settlement units at the Homesh settlement, Hamas confirms that reoccupation of the area is a flagrant violation of international law and conventions. 

We confirm that the fascist Israeli plans to demolish Palestinians' homes, occupy and annex further Palestinian lands, and attack the Palestinian holy places will not break the will of the Palestinian people. 

Hamas also emphasises that the Palestinian people will continue to resist the Israeli occupation until liberation and return.
