Member of Hamas political bureau Dr Khalil Al-Hayya has called for lifting the Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for more than 17 years.
In an online conference about Jerusalem, Al-Hayya explained that destruction resulting from repeated Israeli attacks on Gaza is still in place and the reconstruction projects are suspended now.
The senior Hamas official noted that Gaza will remain the ‘shield’ of the Palestinian people’s resistance against the Israeli occupation.
He also confirmed the resistance in the Gaza Strip is prepared to defend the Palestinian people against Zionist attacks.
