The Hamas Information Office has released a monthly report documenting Israeli and Palestinian Authority (PA) violations against Palestinians during October 2016.

According to the report, the Israeli occupation forces "IOF" had over the last month killed 9 Palestinians, including 7 in the West Bank and 2 from the Gaza Strip, while it had over the same period detained 408 Palestinians, including 64 minors and 23 freed ex-prisoners.

Among the detainees were 7 Hamas cadres who had just been released from PA prisons after various periods of interrogation and detention over political grounds.

Israeli forces had also knocked down 28 Palestinian houses as well as 28 agricultural and industrial facilities and 3 water wells.

In addition, Israeli Occupation Authorities had in October approved the construction of 480 housing units in illegal settlements erected on occupied Palestinian lands in Jerusalem and the West Bank.

The report further documented 108 cases of arbitrary arrests by the PA security forces targeting pro-resistance activists, including 99 Hamas cadres. PA forces has also summoned 64 others for interrogation over political backgrounds.
