The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas offers its sincere congratulations to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on winning the country's presidential election and his people's confidence to lead Türkiye to more stability and prosperity. 

Hamas congratulates all segments of the Turkish people on the success of this democratic process, which has reflected a uniquely civilised image of Türkiye and its people.  

The Palestinian resistance movement hopes that Erdogan's historic victory serves as a new starting point for Türkiye to cement its ties with the Arab and Muslim world, enhance its regional and international standing, and embrace the just issues around the world, foremost among them are the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people's rights to freedom and self-determination and establishing an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
