Hamas spokesperson Mohammed Hamadah has reiterated that the Israeli occupation authorities' relentless efforts to impose a Jewish character on education in occupied Jerusalem constitute a crime that further adds to their history of targeting the Palestinian presence, identity, and heritage. 

Hamadah emphasized that this Zionist policy will not diminish the awareness of the Palestinian youth regarding the challenges confronting Palestinian educational institutions in occupied Jerusalem. 

He further declared that Palestinian teachers and students are determined to protect Palestinian schools and the curriculum.
