Hamas movement has mourned the death of Palestinian baby Mohammed Tamimi, 3, who died of wounds sustained by Israeli gunfire.

Israeli occupation soldiers shot the child two days ago while breaking into the Nabi Salih village North Ramallah.

In a press statement, the Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem confirmed that the Israeli occupation must be held accountable for its violations against the Palestinian people, especially heinous crimes against innocent Palestinian children.

Qasem noted that such crimes will not stop the Palestinian freedom struggle against the Israeli occupation, until liberating the occupied Palestinian land and establishing the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
