Member of Hamas Political Bureau Sami Abu Zuhri reiterated that the Israeli occupation authorities' restriction on Palestinians' entry to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City of Jerusalem is intended to displace Palestinians and establish a Jewish majority in the occupied capital.

The imposition of these unlawful limitations has intensified alongside the increasing demolitions of Palestinian homes in the city by the Israeli occupation, the Hamas official added. 

Most recently, the occupation authorities compelled Palestinian citizens of Silwan's Wadi Qaddoum neighbourhood to vacate their homes before demolition.
