Member of Hamas Political Bureau Maher Salah has strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli occupation strategy of home demolition in occupied Jerusalem, denouncing it as barbaric.

Salah expressed concern over the prolonged displacement of Palestinian citizens, viewing it as a deliberate effort to convert the Palestinian capital into an exclusively Jewish city by expelling the native population and replacing them with Israeli colonial settlers. 

The Hamas official urged Arab and Islamic organisations as well as individuals to demonstrate solidarity with the Palestinian people of occupied Jerusalem and assist them in resisting the imminent threat of eviction and homelessness.
