The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has mourned the death of Palestinian martyr Mohannad Shehada, 26, who was killed by Israeli occupation forces after allegedly carrying out a shooting operation in southern Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
In a press statement Tuesday, the Palestinian resistance movement said that the Palestinian people have a right to defend themselves with all means possible – a right guaranteed under international law for all peoples under occupation.
"The Israeli occupation government has to realise that its continued brutality against our Palestinian people and their holy sites, foremost among them is the Al-Aqsa Mosque, will prompt further acts of resistance," Hamas concluded.
