We condemn the US administration’s endeavours to hinder the work of the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry to investigate Israeli occupation violations against Palestinians in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The international commission of inquiry was established by the United Nations Human Rights Council in 2021 to probe into Israeli violations.

The most recent move in this regard was a joint statement issued by some countries and supported by the US to call for ending the work of the UN commission of inquiry.

Hamas movement reiterates its absolute rejection of the US administration’s obvious bias towards the Israeli occupation.

 We call on the UN Human Rights Council and member states not to succumb to the American pressure and to proceed with the investigation. Moreover, they must ensure that Israeli fascist leaders will be held accountable for crimes against Palestinian citizens and children.
