We mourn the death of Palestinian martyr Ishaq al-Ajlouni, 17, who was killed in a shoot-out with Israeli occupation forces at the Qalandiya checkpoint north of occupied Jerusalem. 

The shooting comes as a natural response to the continued crimes committed by the Israeli occupation and colonial settlers against the Palestinian people, including torching Palestinian homes and properties and desecrating mosques and the Holy Quran in the occupied West Bank, in addition to Israeli violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. 

We reaffirm that the unabated Israeli assaults against our Palestinian people and their sites will be met by further resilience and resistance until they achieve their freedom and independence.
