Hamas movement has urged media agencies to cover Israeli occupation’s crimes committed against the Palestinian residents of Jenin.

The Israeli occupation forces invaded the Palestinian city in a large-scale offensive. Israeli warplanes bombarded homes, mosques, and hospitals on the go.

In a press release, the Hamas Information Office called on journalists to expose the Israeli crimes against Palestinians to the whole world. “They should expose the fascist Israeli behaviour in Jenin.”

The Hamas Information office explained that media outlets and journalists should highlight the Israeli occupation’s crimes committed since the start of the aggression that involved deliberate targeting of residents, besieging them and using them as human shields, destroying Palestinian infrastructure, and bombing Palestinian homes.

The Israeli conduct should be met with more efforts to “spread the truth supported with image and humanitarian stories” about the situation in Jenin.

Journalists should also highlight the Palestinian people’s right to resist the Israeli occupation, in line with the international law, the Office noted.

The Hamas Information Office added that the ongoing crimes reveal the policies of successive Israeli governments towards the Palestinian cause and international initiatives such as the two-state solution. “The Israeli government now calls for ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people, as previously stated by fascist Israeli ministers.”
