Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem said that evicting the home of the ‘Sub Laban’ family located in Jerusalem and giving it away to Israeli settlers accelerates the Israeli policy of ethnic cleansing against Palestinians.

In a statement, Qasem emphasised that this crime is part of the “Zionist war on the Arab identity of Jerusalem and a continuation of the Israeli occupation’s religious war against the Palestinian sacred places.”

We call on the international community and organisations to adopt a decisive and clear position towards the Israeli forcible displacement policy exercised against Palestinian residents in Jerusalem, the Hamas spokesperson added.
