The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has vehemently denounced a  six-month travel ban imposed  by the Israeli occupation  on
Sheik Ekrima Sabri, the preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Hamas spokesperson Mohammad Hamada condemned such move as a “barbaric act targeting Sheikh Sabri for his role in defending Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Expressing the movement’s full solidarity with Sheik Sabri, Hamada warned against the Israeli occupation’s policies targeting the Al-Aqsa preacher.

On Tuesday evening, Israeli occupation forces broke into Sheik Sabri’s home in occupied Jerusalem and handed him an order banning him from traveling for six months.
