Ezzat al-Risheq, head of Hamas' Information Office, said that the Judaisation measures targeting occupied Jerusalem and the al-Aqsa Mosque and the Israeli colonial settlers' incursions into the mosque require intensified presence at the occupied Palestinian capital.

The senior Hamas official has called for immediate action to end the colonial settlers' seizure of Palestinian homes, referring to the seizure of the Palestinian Sub Laban family's home by Israeli colonisers days ago.

"It is essential to demonstrate solidarity with Jerusalemite figures and reject Zionist demands to expel them from their own city", he added.

Al-Risheq highlighted the Israeli occupation's 11-day banning of refurbishment works at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The occupation authorities have introduced a new colonial settlement project aimed at dividing occupied Jerusalem and preventing construction for Jerusalemites.
