Head of Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh has warned against the dangers posed by the current Israeli government, describing it as a ‘great threat to the Palestinian cause’.

Haniyeh urged the Palestinian people to be well-prepared to foil the Israeli occupation authorities' schemes to alter the reality in the occupied West Bank, divide Al-Aqsa Mosque temporally and spatially, and expand colonial settlements that would accommodate nearly a million new settlers to perpetuate dual nationalism.

The Hamas chairman emphasised that the fascist Israeli government has waged a religious war against the Palestinian people and acted in full capacity to crush Palestinian resistance.
