The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has urged the international community, particularly the United Nations, to assume responsibility towards ending the extremist Israeli colonial settlers' violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Member of Hamas Political Bureau in Gaza Basem Naim called on the Arab and Muslim world to take all steps needed to put an end to the Israeli occupation's assaults on Muslim and Christian holy sites, including severing ties with the Israeli occupation.
In a press statement Tuesday, Naim reaffirmed that the Palestinian people would continue to fight the Israeli occupation with all means possible until liberating their homeland and holy sites.
