The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas condemns in the strongest possible terms the United States House of Representatives' passing of a resolution proclaiming that the Zionist entity is not a racist state.

Hamas believes that this vote reflects an absolute bias in favour of the Israeli occupation that encourages it to go ahead with its crimes and violations against the Palestinian people. 

The United States Congress disregards the Zionist occupation's atrocious record of massacres against the Palestinian people, the most recent of which was the Israeli colonial settlers' rampage through the Palestinian town of Huwwara and other West Bank towns.

Deliberate burning and ransacking and destroying Palestinian homes are examples of the heinous crimes committed by terrorist Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.

Such sabotage unveils the occupation's racism and policy of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people. 

Some international officials have denounced the remarks made by the Israeli Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, regarding the offer for Palestinians to either live as second-class citizens or face forcible displacement and killing.

This unjust resolution will not alter the reality of the settler-colonial occupation state that adheres to ethnic cleansing and forcible displacement of the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian resistance movement reiterates that the Palestinian people will not abandon their legitimate right to resistance until liberation and the establishment of the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
