The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has warned against a plan by extremist Israeli colonial settler groups, backed by the fascist Israeli occupation government, to build the alleged "temple" on the ruins of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Hamas spokesperson Abdul Latif al-Qanoua has condemned such plan as an “extremely dangerous and unprecedented escalation in the religious war waged against Palestinian sanctities.”
In a press statement Wednesday, al-Qanoua added that these far-right groups "are racing against time to alter the religious and historic status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
Holding the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for such planned move, the Hamas spokesperson reiterated that the consequences of the violations committed against the Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli colonial settlers would spill over the whole region.
