On the Israeli Prison Service’s violent attack targeting Palestinian detainees, Hamas spokesperson Abdultaeef Al-Qanoa stated the following:

We express our solidarity with Palestinian detainees held in the Israeli occupation’s jails who are subjected to a brutal Israeli attack. Hamas condemns the outrageously appalling conditions inside the Israeli jails following the Israeli attacks.

Hamas confirms that the Israeli fascist government bears responsibility for the repercussions of the aggression against Palestinian prisoners. The Palestinian people stand by the detainees, and they will not be left behind.

Hamas will never abandon its responsibility towards the Palestinian detainees, and they remain a top priority for the Palestinian resistance and the Hamas movement.
