On World Humanitarian Day, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has reaffirmed the crucial role played by humanitarian entities in upholding the just cause of the Palestinian people, who have been enduring the longest and most severe settler-colonial occupation. 

Hamas pays tribute to all aid workers, both Palestinian, Arab, Muslim, and international, who are engaged within the humanitarian system, tirelessly assisting the Palestinian people in their quest to regain their legitimate rights.

Furthermore, the Palestinian resistance movement denounces the financial siege imposed by the Israeli occupation government on humanitarian crews engaged in supporting the Palestinian people as well as in activities against all discriminatory practices against the Palestinian people.

Reiterating the necessity to condemn all violations against aid workers, Hamas urges the United Nations and all humanitarian organisations to shoulder the responsibility of providing support to the Palestinian people worldwide.
